Commercial Drone Photography in Minnesota

Need aerials of a commercial property in Minnesota? Central MN Drone flies commercial listings, retail centers, industrial buildings and self storage statewide. We are FAA Part 107 certified and insured, photos come back in 24 to 48 hours, and packages start at $129 plus published mileage.

Commercial Real Estate Aerial Photography for Brokers and Owners

A commercial buyer wants to know how a property works before they drive out. How does a truck get in? Where does the parking sit against the building? What is next door, and how far is the highway? A photo from the sidewalk can't answer those questions. One good aerial answers most of them.

We shoot for the way commercial deals get marketed: a clean hero image for the top of the offering memorandum, wider context shots that show the corridor and neighbors, and straight-down views that show how the site is laid out.

  • Hero, oblique and straight-down views of the building and site
  • Access, parking, truck courts, signage and road frontage
  • Wider context shots showing neighbors and the corridor
  • Optional lot line overlay (+$39) from your survey or parcel map
  • Full commercial-use license on every package

How much does commercial drone photography cost in Minnesota?
Aerial Essentials is $129 for up to 15 edited photos. Signature is $279 for up to 25 edited photos plus a 60 to 90 second 4K video. The first hour on site is included, extra time is $95 an hour, and travel is $1.25 a mile round trip, round trip, beyond 30 miles of St. Cloud. Large sites and multi-property jobs get a custom quote in writing.
Can I use the photos in an offering memorandum or on listing sites?
Yes. Every package includes a full commercial-use license, so you can use the photos in offering memorandums, listing sites, brochures, signs and ads.
Can you send a certificate of insurance before the flight?
Yes. We are FAA Part 107 certified and carry $1,000,000 in liability insurance. A certificate of insurance is available on request for your property manager or ownership group.
Can you fly a retail center or industrial site during business hours?
Usually, with a plan. FAA rules limit flying over people and moving traffic, so we shoot from the edges of the site or schedule early, when the lot is quiet. Tell us if you want the lot looking busy or empty and we will plan around it.
Do you offer mapping, thermal or survey work?
No. We shoot photos and video for marketing and documentation. We do not sell survey-grade maps, orthomosaics or thermal imaging. A lot line overlay (+$39) is a visual aid drawn from your survey or parcel map, not a survey.
How fast will I get the photos?
Edited photos arrive 24 to 48 hours after the flight and edited video in 2 to 4 days. If wind or weather will not allow a good flight, we reschedule.

What We Shoot for Commercial Listings

Retail and strip centers

Storefronts, pylon signs, parking fields, entrances and the anchor tenants nearby. We can fly before open for an empty lot, or later if you want it to look busy.

Industrial and warehouse

Roof line, dock doors, truck court, yard space, rail or highway access and any room to expand. These are the things a tenant's broker checks first.

Self storage

Rows of units, drive aisles, gates and fencing, RV or boat parking, road visibility and any open ground for a later phase. Buyers can read a whole facility from one good overhead.

Office and medical

Building exterior, parking count at a glance, entrances and how the property connects to the surrounding roads and services.

Development land

Road frontage, neighboring uses and the path to town. See our land aerial photography for parcels with no building yet.

Multifamily and mixed use

Finished buildings for leasing, or a construction progress record while the project goes up, including storefront levels.

Work We Can Show You

We are a newer service, so we won't pretend to have a wall of broker logos. These are from a 78-acre listing in Wadena bordered by commercial buildings, and a multifamily project with a storefront level. See the full portfolio →

How a Commercial Shoot Works

Send the address, your deadline and what the photos are for. We check the airspace, confirm any permission we need, and send a written quote with travel included, so the number you approve is the number you pay.

We pick a time for the light and the traffic. Most single-building sites fit in the first hour included with your package. A big campus or a long shot list may need extra time at $95 an hour, and we'll tell you that before we fly.

If you manage several properties, send the whole list. Multi-property deals get a custom quote, and we will try to group sites that are close together into one trip.

Why Brokers Call a Small Operator

You get one person from the first call through delivery. Central MN Drone is owned by Jacob Fischer, a Minnesota construction business owner who is used to working on jobsites and knows to check in with the site contact first.

Prices are published on our pricing page. Commercial clients often pair aerials with 4K drone video or, for a home or lake listing in the same portfolio, our residential real estate aerials.
